Responsibilities

As a Back-End Engineer at Swipebit you own and drive the development of the technology behind our fintech products. We are a very lean startup, and so you’ll be dipping your hands in practically every corner of our tech stack. The ideal candidate is able to understand how to work the balance between using cutting-edge and battle-tested technology, and is able to prioritize speed of building things without compromising security.

  • Node.js (Express)
  • Practice of RESTful APIs
  • Typescript
  • SQL Based DB - PostgreSQL, MySQL
  • Ability to write unit tests with Jest or any testing framework
  • Strong Git familiarization
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum
  • Experience working with Jira or any project management tool
  • AWS (EC2, Cognito, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS)
  • Blockchain understanding and ability to write smart contracts (Solidity)
  • Best Software Development Practices (Dependency Injection, etc)
  • GraphQL
  • Docker
  • Gitflow
  • Deployment automation with CI/CD
  • Infrastructure automation with Terraform
